APC Reopens Nationwide Membership E-Registration Ahead of 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the reopening of its nationwide Membership Electronic-Registration Exercise from Monday, August 31, 2026.

The ruling party said the exercise would be conducted across all wards as it prepares for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued in Abuja, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka invited existing members, supporters and prospective members to participate.

The party said existing members would be required to validate their membership, while new and intending members would be allowed to register.

According to Morka, the party “invite[s] all Party stakeholders, supporters and members, old and new, to participate in the APC Membership Electronic-Registration Exercise.”

He added that “existing members are expected to validate their membership, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and join the progressive family.”

The APC said applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
Morka said the requirement was intended to strengthen the credibility and reliability of the party’s membership database.

He explained that the exercise “is designed to digitise the Party’s membership register, ensure the integrity of membership records, enhance efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions, promote internal democracy, and strengthen the Party’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.”
