    Kano Communities Decry Rising Bandit Attacks, Seek Urgent Government Intervention

    KANO — Residents of Faruruwa and neighbouring communities in Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State have raised alarm over incessant bandit attacks that have left several people dead, many others kidnapped, and more than 1,600 cattle and other livestock rustled.     EFCC Vows Impartiality, Says No Politician Will Be Shielded from Prosecution

    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has vowed to pursue corruption cases without fear or favour, saying no politician or high-profile individual will be shielded because of party affiliation.
