Nigeria’s April 2026 bond auction recorded strong investor interest, with subscriptions exceeding the offer by 35.4 percent, according to the Debt Management Office (DMO).
Investors bid ₦948.01 billion against an offer of ₦700 billion, though actual allotments dropped to ₦276.79 billion.
The 10-year bond attracted the highest demand, accounting for the bulk of subscriptions and allocations.
Market analysts say the trend reflects sustained confidence in government securities despite tighter allocations and evolving fiscal conditions.
