The Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives has urged opposition political parties to unite and replicate the electoral success achieved by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2015.
Minority Leader of the House, Hon. Fred Agbedi, made the call on Monday in Abuja at the first national summit of opposition political leaders.
Agbedi said opposition parties could achieve victory through unity of purpose and greater cooperation among their leaders.
He urged political leaders to consistently participate in meetings and initiatives aimed at strengthening opposition cooperation.
According to him, the success of the opposition in 2015 demonstrated the importance of political unity and strategic collaboration.
Agbedi also urged opposition leaders to take note of what he described as the political disposition of the present administration.
He said the opposition must work together and develop a strategy capable of providing Nigerians with a credible alternative in the 2027 elections.
