President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has cut short his two-week working vacation in Europe and is set to return to Abuja today, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to resume official duties.
His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement titled: “President Tinubu Ends Vacation Ahead of Schedule, Returns to Abuja Tomorrow (Today).”
The statement noted that the President, who departed Abuja on September 4 for France before proceeding to the United Kingdom, decided to conclude his leave earlier than planned.
During his stay in Paris, Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, where both leaders reviewed bilateral relations and agreed to strengthen cooperation for mutual prosperity and global stability.
Originally, the President’s vacation was expected to last 10 working days, with time split between France and the UK.
